Moniker protects both buyers and sellers by maintaining total control over the entire process with no third party involvement. As a purchaser you must confirm you have read and accept Moniker’s Registration Agreement and secure domain Escrow Terms document.
How the Moniker escrow process works
- Create a free account with Moniker.
- Either party (Buyer or Seller) commences a new escrow transaction.
- Party #2 approves escrow terms entered by Party #1.
- Moniker sends a transfer request which both parties must sign and return.
- The Buyer sends payment to the Moniker escrow account and the Seller provides an authorization code to Moniker.
- The Seller approves form of authorization to confirm transfer.
- Moniker verifies that all payments from Buyer are received in escrow, and all domains from Seller are received in escrow.
- Moniker simultaneously transfers all assets to complete transaction.
- Funds are released to Seller’s Moniker account, Seller selects payment method and domain ownership is transferred to Buyer’s Moniker account.
